Berdeja Abogados attorneys are active participants in academic and policy making processes in Mexico.  Attorneys of the firm have testified before the National Banking and Securities Commission in connection with the Commission's ambitious project of modernizing Mexican securities regulation.  The firm was asked by the National Banking and Securities Commission to coordinate a survey of specialist and investment adviser regulation of other countries in connection with the Commission's ongoing review of Mexican law in this area.  Our firm was selected to prepare the Mexico Chapter of the publication "International Securities Regulation", published by Oceana Publications in the United States.  The firm has been asked by the World Bank to prepare an analysis of Mexican mutual fund and pension fund regulations published by the  World Bank.
